Since August 2010, Whitney Cordero has served as the volunteer coordinator for the ASBP at Fort Huachuca, Ariz. The military blood program holds mobile blood drives at Fort Huachuca monthly and Cordero is responsible for the volunteers assisting the donors at the blood drives. The Imperial Brigade Uses the "Power of Blood" to Support Deployed Comrades (June 2010)
Last month, on May 11, Soldiers of the 1st Battalion, 43rd Air Defense Artillery stepped up to donate blood in support of their comrades deployed overseas. The Armed Services Blood Program (ASBP) - Fort Bliss team transformed the Imperial Brigade's Family Readiness Center in Building 2449 to accommodate several beds, interview stations and a refreshment area for the drive.
